SAHI

SAHI is a Paris-based gallery and creative studio founded and lead by Deniz Başman. The gallery specialises in curated twentieth-century furniture and decorative arts. The studio offers design and consulting services for brands, institutions and private clients: creative direction, retail & visual merchandising design, furniture design and sourcing, installations. These projects are managed end-to-end, from concept through production & launch.

The Founder

Deniz Başman grew up between cultures: Mediterranean-born and shaped by a lifetime of travel across continents that sharpened her eye for form, material, and craftsmanship long before any formal training. She studied at the École Spéciale d'Architecture in Paris before spending a decade in fashion, managing projects & teams and designing stores, furniture, installations. She worked for Comme des Garçons and Dover Street Market Paris as Special Projects Director, for Celine and Saint Laurent as Furniture & Art Installations Designer, as well as for Dior and Dior Homme. She founded SAHI in 2026 as the convergence point of her many disciplines: design, architecture and curation.
